We are responsible for ensuring the University’s institutional equity policies and procedures. We do so in a number of ways:
- Monitoring employment practices (both faculty and staff) of the campus
- Writing the annual equity plan
- Building partnerships across the campus to help units better understand utilization and adverse impact for underrepresented individuals
- Informing search and screen committees of processes through the institutional equity lens
- Encouraging all employees to reflect on their employment through our exit interview process
