Maintaining an Accessible Campus for All

IUPUI is committed to maintaining inclusive and accessible environments across all campuses and eliminating discrimination against people with disabilities.
Ensuring that all members of the campus community have access to our physical and online environments, coursework and instruction, programs, and university-sponsored activities is critical to IUPUI’s mission.

What our office does

We coordinate campus efforts to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and handle concerns brought to us by faculty, staff, students, and the IUPUI community at large.

Workplace and educational accommodations are determined by appropriate offices on our campuses with expertise in the area of ADA (see ADA policy). We can direct students, faculty, and staff to the appropriate campus offices and assist visitors to the Indianapolis, Columbus, and Fort Wayne campuses to find the help and resources they need.

If you need help, would like to report an accessibility barrier, or wish to file an appeal or complaint, you can contact us at 317-274-2306 or  oieindy@iu.edu.

Once you have requested an accommodation on the IUPUI campus, these are the contacts that will reach out to you:
